Two in two

Having not had a patch yeartick since 27 May, I've had two in two days this weekend; a fly-over Siskin yesterday (pleasing given that there suddenly seem to be quite a few around), followed by an adult Yellow-legged Gull on the Silt Lagoon today. This becomes my 123rd species of the year; coincidentally, YLG was also my 123rd in 2014, albeit 11 days earlier.

Back to friday night, and I had a trip out to Kilvington in search of a Quail reported on the 8th. It struck up at 9.50pm from the field to the south-west of the North Lake; a useful Notts yearlist addition.
