Autumn commences

It has certainly been slow going of late on the patch. However, things have begun to pick up a little over the last few days - there were 3 Green Sands on the Silt Lagoon on Saturday, and this evening, there were 5 Black-wits and 2 Common Sands on Mons Pool; this part of Collingham is looking good at the moment, so I'll be crossing my fingers, as usual, that it continues to pull in a few waders (and that they don't all go straight to Langford...).
