Last Sunday, I had a spin round Girton Pits, not seeing much of note except for 2 Eurasian White-fronts with the feral geese on the Trent. These walked up onto the top of the floodbank, but by the time I had got round to Meering (in an effort to get them on my PWC list), there were two horse riders galloping around, and no sign of any geese. And no sign today...
Today, and I bagged two more for PWC; a Black-wit on Mons Pool, and a drake Goosander on Ferry Lane Lake. There were a decent number of Teal on Mons (the best part of 300), but no Green-winger today.
